All right, it’s time to talk seriously about a subject that we usually tend to avoid. I’ll put it simply: nudity.

We have accepted certain levels of nudity in art and even movies, and there will always be some nudity in the media. But when it comes to nudity in our lifestyle – oh no! That’s just not discussed!

Now, obviously there is a place and a time for nudity. One of these places is our bedroom, but many people are unaware of the numerous health benefits of sleeping naked for the simple reason that it’s not normally discussed. It’s possible that you’ve heard this one but dismissed it as a myth. It’s true, however, that keeping your underwear on at night can provide bacteria with a nice place to grow, reproduce and spread infection.

Even if you have insecurities about your body, I promise that your partner does not care. Also, direct skin-to-skin contact can strengthen any relationship.

Without the pajamas you will be waking up fealing cleaner (we’ve talked about the bacteria before, and besides you’ll be less likely to sweat at night.) In addition, without the previously necessary step of disrobing your morning routine will become shorter.

The idea of losing weight while you are asleep is tempting, isn’t it? It is really much easier to achieve without clothes. There is a scientific explanation for this, if you do not believe me.

Sleep burns calories too. Sleeping in a cooler environment fastens your metabolism and makes your body burn calories faster during sleeping hours (and while you’re awake too).

Benefit #6: It’s more comfortable.


Have you ever woken up because your night clothes were itchy or too tight? Have you ever felt uncomfortably hot from being wrapped in too many layers?
